This pocket manual allows you to reset the two main warning indicators:
- The maintenance indicator: It alerts the driver when a service is necessary, whether at fixed or variable intervals (LongLife, EcoFlex ...). It can, most of the time, be reset manually by special operations on buttons on the dashboard or pedals.
- These functions therefore allow in a large number of cases (you can consult the summary) to do without a diagnostic tool, expensive and complex to use, which will be much more useful for advanced diagnosis than for these maintenance operations. current.
Example: resetting a maintenance / drain indicator
1) Switch off the ignition.
2) Press the reset button A on the trip odometer.
3) Hold down button A.
4) Switch on the ignition.
5) The "maintenance key" is displayed.
6) A 10-second countdown scrolls (from 10 to 0).
7) At the end of the countdown, the "key" disappears and "0" is displayed.
8) Release button A.
9) The inscription "0" remains displayed to indicate that the reset operation has been successful.
10) Switch off the ignition switch.
