How to clean your turbo?
Carbon builds up over time and affects the turbo. This becomes dirty and can end up breaking in the most serious cases.
Here are some tips to clean your turbo properly!
Cleaning the turbo thus allows:

- To extend the life of the turbo.
- Optimize engine efficiency through better diffusion of exhaust gases.
How do you prevent turbo clogging?
The best way to fight against fouling your turbo is prevention.
To do this, short repeated trips should be avoided. Especially for vehicles equipped with a particulate filter. The DPF risks clogging if regenerations do not have time to take place
It is advisable to clean the turbo once a month when driving on expressways or motorways.
It is nevertheless advisable to first increase the temperature of the engine (oil at 90 ° C) for approximately 10 km and to drive at a speed greater than 3000 rpm.
The principle is in fact to accelerate sharply to raise the temperature in the exhaust duct.
