User Guide :
IMPORTANT :
- Do not spray directly through the intermediate cooler.
- Do not spray liquids into the turbo or intercooler
- When applying JLM EGR Cleaner, the engine speed may increase or decrease and the diesel engine may strike. This is due to the addition of liquid and the change in the air/fuel ratio.
- Warm up the engine
- Remove the hose from the air intake system:
- Located between the turbocharger/intermediate cooler and the air intake manifold (for cleaning the air intake manifold and intake valves) / Before the turbocharger (for cleaning the air intake system before the turbocharger) / Before the EGR valve (for cleaning the EGR valve).
- Start the engine and let it idle.
- Spray the product at short intervals of 1 to 2 seconds into the air intake manifold. After each spraying operation, the engine speed can increase or decrease, wait until the engine speed stabilizes before spraying again.
- If, during application, the engine speed decreases, accelerate a little to avoid stalling the engine (up to about 2000 rpm). On the contrary, if during application, the engine speed increases or the diesel engine hits, leave the engine idling during application. Don't accelerate!
- Continue until half of the product in the aerosol is consumed.
- Let the engine run at idle for 2 minutes
- Stop the engine and reconnect the air intake hose.
- Start the engine and accelerate 5 to 10 times without exceeding 2500 rpm, or drive 5 to 8 km to help release all the carbon in the system.
- Allow the engine to idle again for at least one minute before turning it off.
